after upgrading to MSN messenger 7.0 there as a fatal error in the compatability window of PLUS. I did and the window suggested and downloaded the newest version of Plus and then my LAN connection was all reset to a dial up connection and I was unable to change it back. So I just did an system restore to the point just before updating PLUS. I am running XP. Does anyone know how to fix this problem, I enjoy ronning PLUS

Change you connection back to LAN then and try to reinstall Plus! Latest Plus! has a repaired compatibility system. Which option did you choose there?
