Contacts on Desktop go Black by Shaggie on 04-15-2005 at 04:50 PM

When I leave my computer locked for extended periods of time (usually at least overnight), the Destop Contact goes Black. (It becomes a black rectangle with no other colours/text/pictures.)  I have to sign out and then back in to restore it.

Has no one else had this problem?

What is your status when you leave it on overnight?

I have it set go automatically go offline after 120 minutes of inactivity.

I have seen it go black in shorter time frames as well.

I usually leave my status at online when i step away from my machine.

That can be caused by a problem in your video card driver... removing transparency in the floating windows will solve it.

I don't see any setting for changing the transparency of my desktop contacts

I just was checking back and noticed your post now.  Thanks for the info.  I have turned off the transparency and we will see if this resolves the problem.
