1. If browser's proxy setting is automatic then  --

code:
Cannot find server

2. If browser's proxy setting is manual (given by the ISP) then --
code:

While trying to retrieve the URL: http://gmail.google.com/gmail

The following error was encountered:

I've contacted with my ISP. Seems they aren't doing anything to solve this problem. I don't know if I can do anything myself to solve this kind of problem. Do u guyz have any idea about how to solve?

Thanks in advance.[/code]

It IS a problem on there end. The second message you're receiving is generated by squid, a popular linux proxy server, which they obviously run.

Either its something with hostname lookups on the proxy server that aren't working, they may have blocked it, or it's just some other form of routing issues.

If I were you, i'd be getting back on the phone and explaining the message you are receiving, and that it is a message from THEIR proxy server.
