Norton Finding Worm by Tourist on 04-16-2005 at 03:58 PM

Hey guys,

Ever since I came online today Norton keeps popping up (see Norton attachment) and when I click more info it shows description (see Security Alert attachment)

I don't know where it's coming from.. I have done a full scan and it didn't find any worms.

I don't understand why it keeps popping up.

Cheers

I don't think that this is a Worm in your computer, I think it is just Norton syaing there is a Worm trying to nfect your computer that is not getting in. Try closing all running apllications and doing Adware, Spyware, and Virus scans, and cleaning out your computer of programs you don't need or don't know what they are. I know cleaning your computer of programs and objects sounds a bit weird for this sort of thing but it can sometimes help. :)

Thanks for advice Tasha, I've done Spyware & Adware scans but nothing found.

The pop up appears every 5-10mins just saying same thing. I've looked into my Quarantine items and nothing to be seen.

Like you say, I don't think my computer is infected it's just saying my computer is being attacked but their not getting in. I've got my router firewall on.
