Is it possible to remove Plus! from Windows Messenger, while keeping it with MSN Messenger.

Thanks!

To stop plugins like SPNG erroring when WinMsg starts up in the background?

Thereby instantly disabling a whole host of Messenger features, not to mention limiting Plus and its plugins.

i dodn;t use them, so i don't care

There is a correct way to uninstall windows messenger.
Doing it this way will not disable nor limit plus or any of its plugins in any way.
See "CookieRevised's reply to I am about to rip my hair out over MS Messanger" for directions on how to uninstall windows messenger correctly

Plus! does not use the API through Windows Messenger. It uses a DLL injection to call the Messenger Object from within the Process Pages of MSN Messenger itself.

Yeah, I can see that working, as the APIs are in MSN Messenger itself.
Actually, I'm interested in how it and/or SPNG hook the windowless RichEdits, as I'm planning on doing some of that myself in the next Phoenix.
