I have a WLAN and i'd like to know if i can use one of my internal ips like 192.168.1.142 to host files within it virtually?

Btw i use a linksys wag54g router...

yeah, you should be able to, you can install an apache server on one of your computers, and it will act as a website on the network.

Yeah but i dont want that pc to have external acess, but i want the others to do so...how shall i do that?

Either write an access list for the router or apache.

The routers config should be able to block your server even being detected outside of your lan
