Hello!
my site will be back online soon and I would like somone who knows about JScript of VB Script to make a little script for me.... the site will have popup banners (I have to pay the server and as the real new site won't be ready soon, I can't signup with another more serious advertiser) and I want the banner to be displayed a maximum of once every one for a unique user.... that will prevent the banenr to reappear everytime you go to another page of the site which is very very annoying. I guess you just need to write a cookie, check the value and execute the little HTML line if the delay is ok but as I do not know nothing about scripting, I thought you could help me....

yep but my advertiser won't allow it... I need a simple VBScript of JScript to put in my HTML page... anyone? please!!! my server is not cheao ($110 / month if you want to know) and I do not want to spam all my visitors with tons of ads!

You shoudl email ginge, he would be able to do it, but he hardly ever reads this forum so probably doesn't know you are wanting someone to do it

Hmm... I tried making a little JavaScript, but I don't know if this is what you want...

When you first go there, you should see the MP2 banner, then any time you refresh within the next day, it won't be there (the cookie expires in a day). Also, the cookie's path is set to "/" so it should apply to all pages on the domain.
Just put the HTML for your banner inside the document.write() with quotes escaped... it's a pretty simple script.

i did it in another way for the site, but i think this is much simple and better...
