Hi does anyone know if you can make your own moving gif pics?

yes of course there are many programs that will do that, try photoshop, image ready, jasc paint shop pro, fireworks, all which are $$$$$$$ but theres free trials ;)

I never knew you could make moving gifs with jasc paint shop pro. I knew about it in Jasc animation shop which is really good, but again it's a free trial.

How can you do this in paint shop?

Actually currently you cant.. But you can get ddp from BlueMountain.

But if you arent talking about messenger do as Invasion says.

animation shop pro comes bundled with PSP... there's no other way to make animated gif's.

this is a very simple program, but you can make animated gifs with it.  you have to make every frame in another program and then you put them in order of how you want them and choose the delay between frame changes.  it sucks terribly, but its cheap (as in free) and doesn't expire.   its called unFREEz.  i'm not sure but you can probably get it by searching it or trying download.com.  but, no, you cant put it in msn but i THINK you might be able to make animated emoticon gifs.

Ulead GIF Animator TRIAL

Easy to use program to make animated GIFs. I use to use this program untill the trial run out. That was on my old pc though. I'm downloading it now :)

The GIMP Free Download

This is a good program for animation, you jsut add a new layer, then add whatever you want on that layer, then go Filters > Animation > Playback. There are also some animations in it already for you to use on images. Go Script-Fu > Animation. GIMP is a good program, and free too. :)

Once you get the hang of it it's easy.
If you want some tutorials, use [Image: google.gif]
