Help with RAR and SFV files by steVenB on 04-20-2005 at 12:25 AM

Hi I downloaded UFC 52 from a torrent site and I need a hand in getting it to play. Within the folder there are 3 folders labeled CD1, CD2, and CD3. In each folder there are a bunch of RAR files and one SFV file. How to I get them to play the file. I hope I dont have to unzip each RAR file as there are over 40 in each folder :|
Thanks for the help :)

Nope, just right click on the first one, and type 'Extract', It'll autodetect the other ones, and extract them all. :)

A brief explanation of what is SFV.
In simple words, it's a file with which you make sure all the other files (.rar) are correct and not corrupt.

In order to use the .sfv file, you need an appropiate application.
For example, you could use QuickSFV.

Wou will need WinRAR or WinACE. Once you have these installed. Right click on any of the files and select Open. If you are prompted to select a program choose either WinRAR or WinACE whichever you installed. Once open highlight the files and drag them into a folder where you would like them to be stored.
