Online messenger by Gin on 04-21-2005 at 09:47 AM

Sorry to be a pain, but I can't seem to search for this to see if any threads on the subject already exist.

Can anybody tell me of any different sites for browser messengers?? I can't access msn or windows messenger here.

I do know that there is a list on mess.be but can't access that here either 8-) so am hoping somebody will know of a site that isnt yet filtered.

Thanks for any replies. xxx

Go here :

http://webmessenger.msn.com/

But remember to take off your pop up blocker or it won't work.

You could also try
http://www.e-messenger.net/
www.msn2go.com is a Java based online messenger if you wanted to try that.
But i think your best bet would be to go to webmessenger as mentioned by Nova

EDIT: heh, put the wrong address for emessenger :$

ANy which are likely not to be filtered at like school?/

My school seems to filter everything with "msn" "messenger" "IM" etc etc

why not use a IP Converter to change the domain to its IP?

most schools (certainly not mine) do not block this method

Simple search google for IP Converter i think the link is something like darkweb.org not too sure and its a simple box

type in for example http://mess.be and it will display a set of numbers (for example 123.123.123.333) then go to your Address bar and type in http://123.123.123.333 or whatever the number it gives you is :)
