Is there a way to insert 800 addresses into a label template without having to type or c&P them in word 2000?

You could use the Mail Merge feature

Tools > Mail merge

Tried that the addresses are sittings in a regular word document and it only sees one line out of the whole entire document

Ah you will need to make them seperate to let mail merge work, try copying and pasting into Excel and then saving and finding the data using the Mail Merge.

You mean each address or the entire document?

The part you want mail merged.

Then in Word go to the mail merge and click get data source and change the search bar to Excel documents and find the excel and it should work

Okay make sure all the fields are going to merge, you see a little bar at the top of word saying <insert merge field> click it and click the list of the addresses you want in and where.

Either put all the addresses in Excel or Access, then use the MailMerge wizard to speed things along ;)

Save addresses file as a txt format, then use the Mail Merge feature as was already suggested..

Is there a specific text file format it should be saved as?

Standardised eight-bit binary representation :P

Simply: just use NotePad.
