Is there a patch or a quicker way of displaying all your contacts on the desktop witout manually clicking them?

Not a totally quick way, it wouldn't be to hard to make a little plug-in that just made all contacts have the option to be on the desktop as soon as it's installed.

However you could try this slower method to Main Messenger Window > Plus > Preferences > Contact List > Desktop contacts > Now select the bottom contact of the immediately displaying contacts (not the total bottom of the list, just the last one that is visible from the top without scrolling) > Now put your cursor in the middle of the top checkbox, and click, then press the down arrow and click again.

As soon as you get into the pattern of this you can do it quickly, it may take a few minutes, but if you get into the rhythm it shouldn't take that long.

Sorry for the fact it's a half arsed solution, but there isn't really a good one atm. Maybe you would care to pass an idea to select all onto Patchou via e-mail?
