After I installed Messenger Plus, Microsoft Anti-Spyware found over 100 spyware signatures within Messenger Plus.  I'd pay for the extra features if it meant no spyware or piggy-back programs...you have to pay for everything with MSN 7.0 anyway.

It is a false detection.

For more info, please read:

The thread contains thorough information about it.

during installation, i chose not to install the bundled program.  My problem is different.  During my nightly spyware scan, more than 100 spyware signatures were found *without* installing the bundled software.  That makes me nervous.

Yes.

Microsoft AntiSpyware Beta detects all Plus!'s files and signatures as spyware. It is all wrong.
I have tested that.

Matter of fact, this happens to many software other than Plus!.
You have our words that your computer is okay :)

I am now convinced that Plus! is safe for my computer.  Thank you.

Yeah, i constantly get over one hundred entries for Messenger Plus! in antispyware, but when i look through what its found its just all the registry keys plus uses (where all the settings are stored)

You can look through the entries it found if you want, just look for anything saying LOP or C2Media. there should be none, execpt maby an uninstaller program.
