This only happens every once in a while but sometimes when I type something, my friends doesn't receive the whole thing. Like say I type, "Hello" It only shows up for them as "Hel" It's only happened 4-5 times but it's just kinda odd. RE: Slight Messenger problem by Savior on 05-02-2005 at 06:27 PM hmmm mabye your hitting the enter key to fast? RE: Slight Messenger problem by mwe99 on 05-02-2005 at 06:33 PM Are you running a lot of programs? This could slow down the speed of you PC and prevent you from 'touch typing' the keys RE: Slight Messenger problem by Y2Pdogg on 05-02-2005 at 07:14 PM I know i'm not hitting the enter key too fast and I know I'm not touch typing because I see the whole word on my screen but when my friends copy and paste from their screen, half the word is missing. RE: Slight Messenger problem by mwe99 on 05-02-2005 at 07:21 PM how about your font choice/color? or special characters. Are you using any? RE: Slight Messenger problem by Y2Pdogg on 05-02-2005 at 07:27 PM just normal Microsoft Sans Serif font in black color and bold. RE: Slight Messenger problem by mwe99 on 05-02-2005 at 07:28 PM Does this happen with all your contacts or a specfic one? RE: Slight Messenger problem by Y2Pdogg on 05-02-2005 at 07:40 PM It's happened with 2 of them so far. RE: Slight Messenger problem by mwe99 on 05-02-2005 at 07:56 PM If its the same 2 each time, it could be a problem their side, rather than yours. RE: Slight Messenger problem by Y2Pdogg on 05-02-2005 at 08:03 PM hmm I didn't think about that. well Thanks for your help RE: Slight Messenger problem by mwe99 on 05-02-2005 at 08:04 PM
No problem, ask them to check because from the information you provided, it could be something their side, such as a faulty install of a program or some display settings. |
