Well, today I finally had the time and motivation to get the feature requested in "Forum feature requests! + cry out to helpers! IMPORTANT PLEASE READ!!!" coded and online. 
Give it a try and let me know if you have any problems or suggestions.

Sweet, I've had "Hide T&T" on for a while now...
I don't think I'll hide anything else, purely because I like to chat now and again...

No, I don't think it is, if it was, then we would probably be able to see the elite forum etc...

I tested the permissions pretty well and there shouldn't be any bugs...
(Not that it's very important, because all you can do is hide a forum that's already hidden

I don't think that has any affect because it you that is logged on, not the new member.

i have lil suggestion but not about this feature .. but its for latest post page...
i think it should be better if u put date and time of the thread start with the thread starter name.... just like in latest post column...

WDZ, a suggestion: "Never hide threads i posted in", could you add that as an option in the hide forums list?
So when you would enable that and you have T&T hidden for example, it will still show the T&T threads you posted in. Could be done technically... you already have the "Show threads you posted in"... use that code but then only apply it on the hidden forums and mix it together with your existing hide forums code .
I know i can use "Show threads you posted in", but i have to switch all the time. Would be nice to see the T&T threads you're interested in and still hide the senseless spam.
