Question, looking for something, wondering if it's possible with MSN by jin11 on 05-07-2005 at 07:00 PM

I was wondering, is it possible or is there any program/plug-in that allows you to see the text the user has typed before they entered it?

And wondering if this is possible to implement. A link to the program or plug-in would be good. Thanks.

Do you mean a plug-in that tells you everything that is typed into the message box evan before they press send (enter). If so i highly doubt that such a program is around. Firstly it is against privacy and secondly i thing this would be quite hard to produce in the first place as it would have to somehow hack the contacts msn to read what is being put. Well thats what i think anyway lol.

Since the message hasn't been sent, and MSN server's haven't received it, then probably not. Unless you hack into their machines which is illegal as you are breaching their privacy.

Sorry...

Already been suggested before if anyone would like to look;
Seeing what your friend is typing?.
It didn't get much length to the discussion, but the solution was that it would require both sides to have something installed to send the message across, character by character. Unless you get into keylogging, trojans and the like, which I don't think is a good idea :refuck:

So both sides would need a program. That would mean that both would be able to see each other's text and not only one person? =/

And the trojans and keylogging feature.. blah I wanted to stay out of it. Rather just was hoping for a program for msn or a patch/plugin. =(

Yes. In simplest terms each person's MSN Messenger can only see what the other person's MSN Messenger wants it to see.
If the original person's MSN Messenger (the contact you wish to see what is typing) doesn't send the information (it doesn't send what the person is typing) you won't be able to see what they're typing.
If both contacts had a tool that allowed this, it would be possible.

Yeah, I was joking. Spying in that way is completely immoral

Yes, but it's not right really to be spying on someone without their consent anyway.

Right, sorry I just wanted to clear that up. Because a friend of mine told me, he had a program in which he could see what the person was typing in a small window underneath his message window. I wanted to ask, what that program was since he wasn't telling me the name. But I guess it's not true..

unless your friend is actually hacking, that is not possible
