This is gonna seem really strange and odd, however. When you visit a website, and a counter is display, is there a way you can hide yourself from this counter, so it doesn't add +1 visitor?

Not possible, since the counter simply counts the number of requests for the page.

It highly depends on what kind of counter. The most simple counters simply count every page request (thus including refreshes). Other counters count by IP only. And thus, if the counter has been programmed to ignore your IP, it will not increment...

It's a simple counter as if i press F5 i can make it increase

If it is a counter on one of your own pages, you can change it for a more sophisticate one or reprogram it. If you don't own the counter, then there is nothing you can do.

Nope, i don't own the counter, but thanks anyways. Maybe a 'cloaking' program will be made sometime.

Thanks again

If the page requires a separate image to be loaded in order to increment the counter, then you could block its URL... :p

May I ask - why?
