hiya everyone.
at school they block web messnger by keywords like messenger is there away of getting msn (web) on without messenger or msn in the address

There isn't I'm afraid, but if you have a floppy disk/usb stick/cd-rom, then you can download Messenger Live! from here: [Updated] Messenger Live! Released [11 May 2005]

Set up a .tk for the Web Messenger URL, that should work (if the blocking works like you described).

.tk's are usually blocked from school precisely because of that. But surely, it would block the meta tags of MSN Web...

.tk is just a frame that loads the url into the frame so it will just load the page saying its blocked

what you can try is visiting the IP address of webmessenger (http://207.46.110.252)

Dude, knowing your school though, it won't allow proxies or secure connections, so will Web Messenger even work?

i had that problem, you dont have to install it, just extract it... but it still ends in .exe so i couldnt use it....:( not sure about you though..

I have the same problem as school, the way i do it is to either use a different webmessenger (check out mess.be for a list) or copy the three required files over and stick them in my files at school
