Well this was my site traffic BEFORE the PS3 reveal (Sunday May 15th):
Around 250 hits a day.
Then on the 16th the traffic started to pick up [or spike] after the big reveal (around 5:00 PM PST) but then it went back down:
I was happy, though - my site was the first website on the entire internet BESIDES SCEE (Sony's official Europe website) to get the PS3 pics and specs up.
By the 17th I was flat lining....then - HELLO! My site got linked to by alldumb.com and a few other link sites because I was first to post the pics and specs [like I said above] 
I got around 5000 unique hits 
And yesterday I had over 4000 unique hits:
Today I'm doing fairly solid - 1000 unique hits so far:
Now I just need to get them to click the ads 
Note: My site launched 3 weeks ago

last month on skarz, I got 78 000 hits... this month I have had... ... hmm...

Like I said - I only launched the site 3 weeks ago so I don't think I'm doing too badly

That's soem mad traffic you got there 
Try and get your site linked to as many sites as possible and link them.
Also, (sorry if you already have) write a note on your site saying something like..
"Please support PS3 lounge by clicking on our sponsors...If it wasn't for our sponsors, we wouldn't be here"

what's wrong with a tk? Not every one has enough skills to make something as cool as you Blade, realize that.. for us, webmasters who only get about 300 hits a yr, it doesnt worth paying for a domain..

But it's the fact that you DON'T have a domain that causes so few hits.
And domains are like $8 US anyways.
