^o) when ever i attempt to do a file transfer i keep getting the message.

unable to create shared or ( and ) download directory ^o) know whats up with it

Do you use Msg Plus fire transfer or the built in MSN's one

Ok go to options in msn and make a folder for the file transfers to go to :)

It could be possible that MSN Messenger (aka you) don't have write access to the default place where MSN Messenger stores its recieved files.

There is no file transfer in Messenger Plus!.

The closest thing to a different file transfer is the File Transfer Plugin, which would have been mentionned if it was used (and thus posted as a question in one of those FT Plugin threads instead of here anyways)

Check where your files are saving too.

Tools > options > File transfers

It should be similar to this as default

C:\Documents and Settings\USER\My Documents\My Received Files
