You should not uninstal windows messenger, as it can stop other plugins from working

Follow the following steps to stop windows messenger from signing in automatically

* Click Start, click Control Panel, and then click User Accounts.

* On the Advanced tab, click Manage Passwords.

* In Store User Names and Passwords, select Passport.Net/*, and then click Remove. This removes your Passports connection to your computer, but doesnt delete your Passport.

* Click Close, and then click OK.

btw, this thread should not be in general chit chat, it should be in msn/windows messenger

You can close Windows Messenger by opening the Task Manager, clicking the Processes tab and ending the program named 'msmsgs.exe' alternatively, to stop Windows Messenger from running when your computer starts, click on your start menu and click Run then type in 'msconfig' (without the quotes) then click on the startup tab and look for the program msmsgs.exe then untick the box next to it and save the changes. Beware though, some Msn Messenger features require Windows Messenger to be running in order to be used e.g. Remote Assistance, you should only stop the program starting if this is not a problem to you.

To stop Windows Messenger from running when Windows start:

Open Windows Messenger (msmsgs.exe)
Go to Tools > Options
Preferences Tab
Untick Run Windows Messenger when Windows starts (below)

:D

Although that won't get rid of it, it won't bother you again.

He's shown in his post that he has already done that, if you looked at the attatchment you would have seen.

Please look and read the whole post of what the person needs help with fully before you post.
