It was the msgplus website to. because when the forums went offline I tryed going back to www.msgplus.net and it said "connection timed out".

I'm having some probs too, but not with that(and it's probably a firefox issue)..sometimes i cant load images properly...

Howto Tracert:
Start
Run
cmd (or command if in windows 95/98)
when the window opens, type in:
tracert msghelp.net
once it's done, Right click in the window, select "Mark" and click and drag to select the text that was output by the tracert.
now right click again to copy it to the clip board and paste it into a new reply here.

Make sure your right clicking the selected area.
And if that doesnt work, once you've selected it, you can press enter to copy.
Also try just from "Tracing route...." to when it stops so you dont select the command.

May I add for those who provided tracert and ping logs to only do this when you experience problems at that given time.

It is of not much use if you post your logs here when it is working.

You need to perform the tracert check and ping check when you can not connect to the sites, not afterwards when the problem seems to be fixed...

well i tried tracert to msgplus.net and the request timed out from hop 2 to hop 30. the request also timed out on ping with 4 lost packets. is msgplus.net down?
the exact same thing happened with msghelp.net.

Wj requested to list it, not to tell him about it. The list is important as it gives the clue to where it goes wrong (the line before the timeouts).

PS: if the tracert check times out, the ping will always time out too.

well i tried tracert to msgplus.net and the request timed out from hop 2 to hop 30. the request also timed out on ping with 4 lost packets. is msgplus.net down?
the exact same thing happened with msghelp.net.
Wj requested to list it, not to tell him about it. The list is important as it gives the clue to where it goes wrong (the line before the timeouts).

PS: if the tracert check times out, the ping will always time out too.

Well, it would get to my router, then it would time out. <--that's for both sites.
