Windows Messenger/ Task Manager by kierant on 05-30-2005 at 04:03 PM

What does Windows Messenger show up as in the Task Manager?

The reason I ask is that I disabled it from the startup programs as it was annoying me, but occasionally when I start up the comp I get messages from people via WMessenger when I'm unkowingly signed in.

Does WM have the function of signing in appearing offline?

It doesn't even show up in the task bar so It's impossible to know that it's running.

Thanks.

Thanks.

Easily confusable with MSN Messenger...winmsgr.exe would make more sense but hey.:P

Edit: Just noticed a 'wdfmgr.exe'. What's this?
