Microsoft office Code Help!!!!!!!!! by Nathan on 05-31-2005 at 08:06 AM

Hiya all
Ive got microsoft office 2001 and its NOT a coppied version. It was from my Nan and she chucked the box away which had the code in and put the cds in a COLOURFUL box. (she says it looks much nicer in these boxes) And now i dont have the registration code and microsoft wont give me one. Is there a patch or something to get round this plz. Otherwise its £200 down the drain!!!

Yes, there are ways you can get around it like cracks. However telling you how to get them illegal, and against the forum rules, for obvious reasons.

What I think you should do now is contact Microsoft customer relations. Tell them your situation, ask if you can post back the product and proof of you buying it (a receipt would be good) and they may be able to help you out.

I'm not sure where Microsoft stands on issues like this.

Anyway you can find full ways on how to contact Microsoft Tech Support on http://support.microsoft.com/.

If you really have lost the registration code, then there is nothing you can do to register it. There are workarounds, but they still count as warez, so can't be disscussed here.

All I can say is :google:

Why are you wanting to resort to Warez (illegal software), when there are possible legal ways you can work around? Tbh, it looks a little suspicious.

Read my first post in this thread, in it I clearly explained a legal workaround.
