It would be nice to have a way to export Messenger Plus! settings via the commandline, so that I can write a batch script that exports them as a part of an automated backup routine. AFAIK this would be fairly simple and it would be quite useful.

yea that would be quite useful actually, something like

msgplus.exe /exportpref 'c:\backup\msgplus.prefs'
