bittorrent is a way of sharing a file.

Normally, a file is on a website, and everyone gets the file of that website. If loads of people try to download the file, costs can become really high, and your server will be too expensive to run.

But with Bittorrent, the way it works is by you downloading different bits of the file from different people, and then combining it all together to get the whole file. There is a tracker server which tells people where to get the file from.

I think it's the best way to share files, mainly very big ones, like full series, anime, where the files are bigger than 1GB, legal/illegal stuff.

And for downloading files, its like Audiogalaxy's system, you search the web for the files and the program downloads them (...old times...) with the difference that its not only one site......
