Quicktime: Firefox by zach on 06-05-2005 at 02:45 PM

I have quicktime and it works in Internet Explorer, so is there a way so that I can use it in firefox? I don't want to have to download it just for firefox.

How do I install QuickTime?

If you have QuickTime 5.0 or later installed, Mozilla Firefox will automatically use the plugin. You do not need to do anything.

If you install QuickTime after Mozilla Firefox, the QuickTime installer will automatically install the plugin for Mozilla Firefox.

    Download QuickTime 6.5

Okay, I'll just download the latest version. I should have had a look around before making this thread, but I was tired. :P

Thanks.

Edit: I just downloaded the latest Quicktime, but it still doesn't work in firefox. *Edit again* It wasn't that firefox couldn't detect Quicktime, but the settings in Quicktime were "wrong". I just went through the preference list and ticked everything ;)

Problem Solved.
