VOIP Phones - Do you use them? by shine on 06-07-2005 at 05:52 AM

VOIP phones are coming out of their commercial beta testing...do someone use them? Commercial companies are already offering then in US, Canada, UK, Mexico... as far as I know.. Is this already in EU? I think this could be the future way of communication!

paperless... have you used voipbuster then?

is it any good? free cals sounds pretty much perfect to me... it would be better if they paid you to call people but that's not going to to happen.

seriously though tell me if it's reliable etc.

In ever tried it but why dont you try it? You can talk for a minute in one call, to have infinit amount of time in one call you have to charge with at least 1 euro and you still have the calls for free except for mobile phones.

Why dont you try it.

Does VOIP run through your old phone line? and are they also an ISP

RE: VOIP Phones - Do you use them? by mad_onion on 06-10-2005 at 10:57 AM

it runs through a brodband connection. so thats cable or adsl, the probel mis in the UK if you go for adsl it runs through your phone line and so you need to pay for bt line rental anyway so there isnt much point lol :)

RE: VOIP Phones - Do you use them? by gif83 on 06-10-2005 at 11:29 AM

but even if you pay BT line rental, you don't won't have free calls all the time with BT so you are still saving cash.

i'm sure i'll try this at some point and i'll post feedback here when i find out how good/bad it is

That voip thing isn't free at all, it's only free if you're talking to other users who have voipbuster, it's a common misconception that is made while downloading it.

have you even read the voipbuster website traxor ... don't be so fast to make comments

here's something taken from the website faq:

When you use the free VoipBuster software, you can connect to other VoipBuster users so that you can talk. You can also call regular phones in various popular destinations for free. Or call at an incredible low rate to any other phone on the planet.

You are right :D

But it does give you an option of making long distance calls at local rate doesnt it?
