i have these programs:

1) Ashampoo Burning Studio 5
2) Alchol 120%
3) Aurora VCD_SVCD_DVD Creator
4) DVD Santa
5) ImTOO AVI MPEG Converter
6) Nero 6
7) Super DVD Creator
8) WinAVI Video Converter


and i wanna know what program out of the list, can convert to vcd, and burn the files using one program, and not having to use nero to burn the files and one of the converters.

hmm. im not 100% sure but i dont think any of these programs can convert AND burn. try using google to find if any other programs can do it. also nero is a great program to use to burn vcds/dvds. i have before and it messed up my discs

You can use Nero 6, and it will convert it for you, but you need the MPEG-2/DVD plugin.

The plug-in installs very quickly within a matter of seconds. You will get a confirmation of a successful installation.

To have it working correctly, VMPGEnc.dll and VMPG2Enc.dll have to be in the Nero directory.

To test the plug-in, simply launch Nero, select the SVCD format and ´New´. Drag and drop an AVI file into the SVCD compilation window. Nero detects that it’s not MPEG-2/SVCD compliant and asks if you wish to ´Turn off standard compliance and Continue´, ´Re-Encode the Video file´ or ´Cancel´. Select ‘Re-Encode the Video File’.
