Intous Wacom Tablet question by SikStyles on 06-17-2005 at 02:59 AM

Well i've been thinking about buying myself a tablet for drawing. So a couple of questions have popped into my head (i know they are probably stupid), but anyway here they are:

1. Would the tablet work with a crappy graphics card ( intergrated 4mb one) ?
2. Does it need any special kind of drivers to run?
3. Any other information about the tablet to run with Painter/Photosop
4. Any other information about the needs of the tablet?

Ok thanks guys!

1. no, not rly i dont even think it uses your graphics card at all
2. All the drivers are inculded in the install cd, they load evey time computer is turned on
3. my wacom tablet came with photoshop elements and corel painter and some photoshop add-on....wacom tablets have pressure sensitivity with photoshop...the harder you push the thicker the line(to a certain extent) which is good, also if you buy their tablet you get discounts on some other programs.
4. DONT LOSE THE PEN....its expencive and a hastel to get, always keeps it stored in the back of the tablet.

you should definatly buy it i recently upgraded my tablet to wacom and i am rly happy, way better than my old one. You should not buy from the first store you see it at, alot of stores rip you off. I got mine 15% off from the store and like 30% from the company/
