i dont know about u guys, but here and for my culture today is officially fathers day and i was just wondering if we could dedicate a thread to our "daddys" and who knows may be we can find out how many of the messenger plus forums members are fathers. (Y)
i didnt get anything for my dad because unfortunally he is in another country, and i kinda did this thinking on him , i will just probally call him and say happy fathers day.

Well Father's Day is 19th June in UK. My dad's getting 30 GBP towards his new phone (it was all I could afford on a student budget) and my brothers giving him two Body Shop aftershave balms. Then of course I'm going up round to the local chinese to buy him dinner....you didn't think I was going to be cooking for him after working from 8.30am - 3.oopm

Went and got some lounge chair to put next to the pond We've been building for over a year... If I had a decent camera, I'd show you it, it's really nice, especially for starting with a hole in the ground..

me and my bro got my dad his fav movie(blazing saddles, its a comedy western), some bottles of beer/ale (the reali expensive stuff) and a mug for the car (he dropped and broke his)

yes,i'm a father too,i couldn't contact my dad because he died in1995,dads generally get a raw deal of things,and on fathers day,that tends to be different. The only thing that annoys about fathers day is that other people (usually mothers)act especially nice on fathers day and then go to the trouble of pointing it out all the next day,otherwise,fathers day lets you know you are appreciated by your kids,i'd be lost without my kids,but i could live wiyhout fathers day (Y)
