i was just wondering about how many people form diferent places connect through this site and i was just thinking on wat are u guys' conection speeds? (internet)

just list what u guys have im curious to see how are some others people services.

i dunno the specifics but i got a 300k download rate . and im with ntl. i could get a free upgrade to 1Mb but i would get a crappy 5 Gb a month download limit

UK. most companies here if they are popular give a download limit every month or so. it accounts for everything from using torrents to loading images on sites

well ntl are gonna start the limits at the end of the year. for the 1 Mb connection its 5Gb a month and for the 2Mb connection is 1Gb a day which would suit me but my parents wont upgrade to that

5GB a month, are they serious? i could go through that easily in under a week

im on 8mbit down and 1mbit up, im thinking about upgrading to 20mbit down, its ony 10 euros more...

I have a crappy 512Kbits Down and 128 Kb Up, and i'm getting a free upgrade to 2048 Kbits Down and the same 128 Kbits Up...my isp is Sapo and the fastest connection(for home connections) there is in portugal is 16 Mbits down and 512 Kbits Up...check it here : 16 mbit

Well I got the NTL upgrade from 300k to 1mb.

Not looking forward to the download limit.

Provider NTL.

For the record, NTL Engineers currently tell you the upload is 64k for 1Mbit, 128k for 2Mbit & 256k for 3Mbit but at quiet times my connection reaced 311k Upload & 3624k Download.

I got Bell Sympatico (3 Mbps) it seems very reliable lately (maybe they upgraded?)

I can now go up to speeds around 500 kb.. Not bad really.

At home: 5 Mbps on cable
In residence at uni: 100 Mbps (LAN) and whatever a fibre optic connection is rated at for the net
