Hotmail requires another login through Messenger by darknezx on 06-18-2005 at 01:21 PM

Whenever I click on My Hotmail Inbox in the latest version 7.0.0813, I get redirected to a login screen instead of before when I get into my inbox directly. Is that supposed to be the behaviour now for messenger 7?

noo...

go to MSN messenger > tools > options > security > uncheck "Always ask me for my password when checking Hotmail or opening other Microsoft Passport enabled web pages"

I think this can also be caused by the open all links in default browser option in Stuffplug NG if you have it checked. IF you do, try unchecking it and see if the problem still occurs.

No, it works perfectly fine for me (I'm using Firefox).

darknezx, check what FrozernFire said, and make sure your browser accepts cookies. You can try manually logging into Hotmail and checking "always remember my user and password".

monster.rat's solution did it for me, I've checked the option (suggested by FrozernFire) a few times, even reinstalled. Didn't know it could be caused by StuffPlug, but all is well now.
