MSN7 Task Monitor 1.2 by sn1p3r on 06-24-2005 at 11:25 AM

MSN7 Task Monitor is an application which monitors your running processes. If it detects a known process it will change your MSN7 status description.

You can add up to 256 applications to the List of known applications. It minimizes to the Tray and has an editor with which you can easy add new applications to your personal List.

The Editor is a seperate application to reduce memory usage.

What's New in This Release:
External Editor for the config.xml File

Removed the Quit Button image to reduce memory usage

Changed GUI Language to English

Added Installer/Uninstaller

Download: MSN7 Task Monitor 1.2 -  844 kb

I just tried it out, it seems like an ok program and could be of use to some people.

do you have a mirror/indirect link? this one seems to be wanting a referrer... copy-pasting it didn't do the job

you can set it to change your psm and psmicon when a certain process starts

example:
i have it set up so when hl2.exe starts my psm is set to Playing CS Source and my icon is gaming

Screenshots

Someone requested this as a plugin a while ago. It allows you to add tasks to the list such as programs you use frequently and you can set an icon to be displayed along with a personal message to notify your contacts that you are playing a game, typing up a document or running a certain program etc. There is already something like this which displays currently playing game in your personal message but this can be used for pretty much any program.

I cant save my list? It shows an open dialog instead of a save dialog! :S
I think it's a bug, sn1p3r? :)

And how does this plug-in respond where there are two (or more) tasks running (and were added to the list)?

Yea i was getting the same thing, in the end i just decided to forget it and uninstalled the program. I don't really know much about it, i just saw it and thought some people may find it of some use so i guess you'll have to contact whoever made it to find out about bugs etc.

I have no idea :S i'd guess it would maybe choose the program that comes first in the list.
