i made this thread to have some fun, i want to know what some of you guys' nicknames means.
mine is guanako: its actually an animal i know not the best looking one but, it is also what they call people from my country El Salvador.
and i choosed it because like to somehow represent my homeland by calling my self that.

meh w/e, my name is from my favourite dj, dj green lantern, he had a cd called INVASION,

so i guess i kinda addopted it for forums use and put squigles on each side for looks "~"

well my nickname came from a girl. My old nickname got childish and boring so i was like i need a new nickname, can you plz help me and she came up with this..dont know where she got it but i liked it and i took it..btw its gettin boring again but i dont think im going to change it again because then i'd need to change everything and that would just create a mess

i really dont like it whne people changes it in forums, contacs list is alrite b/c u can easily find out who they are i think it would be better if people would stick to wat they choose at the beggining.

Vazza ~ Was gifted by a friend before a big chemistry competition 2 years ago so that no one would know who we were talling to. There was Vazzabel, Claireabel and Laurabel. The fact we all sound scottish meant noone understood us anyways We came fourth in that Comp.  Not bad for the first time that we'd entered it.

Vhazza (used on IRC) ~ Was getting bored of using Vazza (it use it everywhere) so cange it to Vhari (my real name) which caused trouble because people liked Vazza so to compensate I changed it to Vhazza: 3 letters of my real name, 3 of my alias

where does the gif part come from? sorry to disappoint but tis not a file extention but a nickname conjured up years back... first year of GCSE's i do believe... some weird guy at school was sitting in the corner listening to opeara on his walkman... it was the marriage of figaro... i was in a circle of friends who were just happily chatting away... then the guy turns around , points at me, and shouts "FIGARO!!!" ... so i was called figaro for a while.... this got shortened to fig cos figaro apparently was too long... then eventually flipped around to gif just for the hell of it. gif has stuck ever since. I use gif83 as my online alias to prevent confusion with a certain file extention, the 83 part coming from the year of my birth.

Jae was my first nick one the first day i went on the net, it's a short version off "James" which used to be a nickname when i was a little kid playing cowboy and stuff outside with friends .

I wanted to get rid of the numbers in my name, but i do wanted something unique that really nobody used so i went playing with names when i was bored at school, ended up with "MenthiX".... typed it into some big searchengines, only google came up with Menthix as a surname of some Korean guy .

its my name.  nuff sed 

means nothing, used it for years and years on games. no idea where it came from but since then it's turned into lots of chinese/japenese people, a kangaroo and other strange things.

saral is my first name, and k is the first letter of my last name.

My last name is Monsurate. So, when i was young, people changed it and started to call me monster rat because it sounds like it obviously.

That's the first thing i thought of when thinking of a name.

toddiot -- adopted from the wrod "idiot" when i misspelled it once on msn messenger. It somehow came out as "you're such an toddiot" when i wanted to say "you're such an idiot". interesting, isn't it?

EDIT: You really understand how bad I am at typing when you see that I spelled "word" wrong above. When you think about it, my nickname could be "wrod" right now .
