Actual Transparent Window by Supersonicdarky on 07-08-2005 at 09:23 PM

It's an awsome program for win 2k/xp. (y)

quote:
Actual Transparent Window lets you apply transparency effect to any window in Windows 2000/XP. The transparency effect looks very impressive and may be useful with such windows as Windows Taskbar, WinAmp, menus, any Instant Messenger and even application windows. You can set individual transparency rate from 0% (solid) to 100% (fully transparent) for each window.Actual Transparent Window also has the option to set transparency so it occurs only when window becomes inactive. You can apply transparency effect only when you move or resize window across the desktop or toggle transparencyopaque window state by double click on title bar.Actual Transparent Window comes in English, German, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Italian and other languages!Actual Transparent Window saves all your settings so that you need to set the transparency only once for each window. Or, tinker with your settings as often as you like. This is an attractive, handy and fun utility!

It can be found here.

Isn't this also supported by Nvidia drivers?

RE: Actual Transparent Window by Supersonicdarky on 07-08-2005 at 09:34 PM

that's what i said (only for win 2k/xp), but i'm not saying you should use it for msn, but for anything :D (like this browser)

My friend used to have a program like this, but it was a trial and was full of crappy adware and stuff.

I'll check it out now, I love transparency in windows ;).

I've just tried it, and it's not very good at all, the user interface is appauling, and it isn't very user-friendly :s...

then can you make one that will make all windows transparent (you get to choose the trasparency of each one)

and trasparent taskbar+start menu

If you do that, and add some stuff of your own, your program will be better than that one :D

crappy image made by me :P

I suck lol :P

Here it is

Look in the upper right corner, there is a slider to adjust the transparancy for each type of window. ex: IE, Firefox, MSN, etc...

Can't the Nvidia cards do all this? I know that my card can, but I don't put on the desktop manager features on.
