i didn't know if i should post this in the bugs section or here.. but i'll do it here.

contact information is acting a bit strange sometimes right after a contact has signed in, contact information says the user is idle. but he can't be idle immediately after signing in. look at the screenshot.

The Idle status shows when someone has set their personal settings to Show me as 'Away' when I'm inactive for X minutes - it doesn't let you enter a value less than one, but perhaps your contact has overridden it by editing the registry..?

Or uses something to set the idle status manually.

it happens to several contacts. even contacts that don't even know how to change the away settings. it has nothing to do with the settings for setting your status to away when inactive.

Hmmm... weird... I just tried if it was because of the "sign in as" thing, but no. Maybe MSN servers doing weird things?

i doubt it has anything to do with the msn severs. it's been going on ever since i installed plus a few months ago
