Suggestion for (!WAT) command by Curtis on 07-23-2005 at 04:16 AM

Since it only shows what song is currently playing in WinAmp, it confuses my contacts because they don't know what band or song it is.  So I was wondering if you could make it so it says something along the lines of "Current Song: Artist Name - Song title".  I would thank you if you put this feature into Plus!.

The (!WAT) command uses the ID3 tags of the song (in the format of <artist> - <title>. So if Plus! cannot get the info from the tags, no other plugin will be able to either. Your only option is to edit the ID3 tags of the mp3 by opening it in Winamp, right clicking the file in your Playlist Editor and selecting "View file info"

They created the function didnt they?  Well then that means they can edit the function.  If they can't put simple words in front of a tag, then how would they have been able to do all of this.

Hi,

why not simply just type "Current Song:" and then add (!WAT)... making the value of (!WAT) just the Artist - Song, gives more customizability.

Kind Regards,

or make a quite text with
"Current Song: (!WAT)"
and call it something like song
then you can use (!SONG) insted of (!WAT)
