Okay, before someone yells at me, I'm going to start out with this;
I didn't know where to put this topic, so I put it here.



Soooo, the problem with my MSN is that I recently upgraded to 7.0. However, when I login, EVERYTHING is blank, I can't recieve messages (though a box pops up and says someone was trying to message me, but it couldn't open the conversation), and it doesn't really display anything. Also, my name, all my contacts' names, etc. don't appear.  I can't use MSN EVER, unless I get this fixed. Mainly because the MSN management (whoever they may be) VERY ANNOYINGLY force all new users of MSN 6.2 to use 7.0. I have absolutely NO idea what's wrong with my MSN. I'll really appreciate it if anyone could help me out.

Completely uninstall and reinstal msn. If that doesn't work press ctrl+alt+del and go to processes... Find msnmsgr.exe and press end process, then get back into MSN... try both.


EDIT: Also if you notice not all of it's blank, there's one person that's just "-" for their name, and then there's one with a PM... also it looks like the gleam notifications are working... still weird.

This has happened previously. This is about the 7th time I've re-installed 7.0. Neither of those work.

Please try those links above. are you running a handwriting plugin?

Yes, I have the handwriting plugin that I used while I still had 6.2. Is that a problem?

Uninstall the handwriting plugin, and get the new one for MSN, available at http://www.mess.be downloads

Okay, I'll try that now! I'll post a reply if someone posts something after this message, or I'll just make an edit to this one if it worked/doesn't work.
