So, who else watched the launch of the Space Shuttle Discovery? RE: Discovery Launch by emit on 07-26-2005 at 04:23 PM I did. I watch them all as a matter of course (usually caps off the intarweb after the event but sometimes live on TV). RE: Discovery Launch by mwe99 on 07-26-2005 at 04:34 PM i missed it RE: Discovery Launch by user27089 on 07-26-2005 at 04:38 PM I didn't watch it, I'm not really into all of this type of stuff... RE: Discovery Launch by Zephyr on 07-26-2005 at 05:08 PM I missed it too, but you can watch a video of it using Windows Media Player. http://news.bbc.co.uk/media/avdb/news_web/video/9...01d2fe_16x9_bb.asx RE: Discovery Launch by KnightieBoy on 07-26-2005 at 05:35 PM I watched it.. I love those flames and toxic (*cough* *cough*) clouds.. The disconnecting or whatever it's called of those fueltubes seemed a bit soon, but hey what do I know with my 3 rockets and own space station [/sarcasm].. I guess they knew what they were doing RE: Discovery Launch by nightcrawler50 on 07-26-2005 at 11:08 PM i missed it but saw a clip on the news RE: Discovery Launch by multimillion2k on 07-26-2005 at 11:31 PM Aw, I thought this was gonna be about Messenger Discovery.. RE: Discovery Launch by albert on 07-26-2005 at 11:39 PM May they have a safe trip RE: Discovery Launch by TylerG on 07-27-2005 at 01:56 AM I missed it But it is cool since I live by Houston, sometimes you can see the shuttles fly over my house on their way up or back. It is so awesome, it looks like a jet with a giant tale of fire. Me and my friends would always sit on my bench outside and wait for it RE: Discovery Launch by nightcrawler50 on 07-27-2005 at 02:53 AM that sounds cool RE: Discovery Launch by J.J on 07-27-2005 at 06:38 AM
I watched it, but feel asleep like after 2 minutes, i was too tired RE: Discovery Launch by shine on 07-27-2005 at 10:46 PM

The crew has already been informed regaring this and they are to conduct a verification with robotic arm of the suttle..If there is a damage, they have to stay in ISS until a rescue mission RE: Discovery Launch by nightcrawler50 on 07-28-2005 at 03:17 AM i dint noe about eh 2nd one but i had heard of the 1st one |
