Spliting a Video by Replicarter on 07-28-2005 at 05:25 PM

Hey, i've done no video editing previously and wondering if you can help, i need a program to cut a video down the middle, not cut the length, i mean actualy cut it in half as if it were a jpeg, and then stick it to the opisote half of another video, as to have 2 of me in 1 video. Do you know of a simple program to do this on?

I dont want to shorten the video though... I want to cut the image down the middle, and stick it to the side of another one like i said in my post.

Whoa, Locky! You've been cloned! - 714kb

It this the effect you're after? I used Sony/vegas video for this effect, I've never used windows movie maker so I don't know If you can use that. I think this is a form of superimposing.

Do you have a stylus pad, buzz?

YES, thats exactly what i ment.

And buzz, that second one, is still to seperate videos, i dont want them after eachother, i want them to play together, like in that clip Multi posted.

I think the term is called overlaying - unfortunately I don't know of any small programs that can do it. You can try Video Edit Magic but I don't know how effective it is.
