Plugin Suggestion by jameslives on 08-03-2005 at 06:12 PM

hey all

i just had an idea ^o)

would it be possible for a plugin that shows the transfer speed on the actual msn download bar?

like this
__________________________
| Transfer: 50kb Left  (124kbs) |

File Transfer Plus 1.1 can do this.

However, it only works providing that you and the user whom you are transfering the file to/from has the Plugin installed as well. If not you have 2 options.

1) Not be able to see the speed of transfer.

2) Send a contact wide message asking them to install the Plugin if they have Plus! installed.

Sorry that I could not help further.

Hi,
yes and no. It does open a new window, with all the information inside but inside is all the statistics that you need. I am not to sure though, so don't quote me on that, Cookie will probably be able to shed some more light on this than me as he is more experienced than I.

Sorry that I couldn't help with everything,

Yes, File Transfer Plus does open a new window, but this is because it doesnt use MSN file transfer, it uses its own method of transferring files (this is why it can be faster, it goes direct to the person instead of through msn servers first), this is also why both people need the plugin for it to work
