I kept getting broken Quicktime links on .swf files. I've updated my shockwave player and I unchecked Quicktime to work with .swf files but nothing is working. please help.

update quicktime?

EDIT: sorry to have been a bit harsh..If I were you I would update quicktime and check to see if it works for that file type after its upgraded...see if that works

It's Updated. I spent all day updating EVERYTHING on my computer that could be updated lol.

Do you have any extension that could be blocking those files? NoScript, FlashBlock, etc.?

The Extensions I have are: GAMEFox, Adblock, Text to Image, and Linkification.

I don't think anyone one of those would block them...

It seems that Flash Player isn't installed properly.

Remember that Flash Player is completely different to Shockwave Player. Here are the latest version of plugins for both:
Flash Player 7 Plugin (7.0.19.0)
Shockwave Player 10 Plugin (10.1.11)

There is a Macromedia test page for Shockwave and Flash.
