Meh, if it only happens with that account, try this:

It'll only work on Windows XP and above I think (perhaps Win2000 but I've never used it properply)

Go Control Panel > User Accounts > Your Account > Manage My Network Passwords (On the left).. then remove the user account that isn't work properply.

Then just sign in as usual on MSN, you'll need to specific your email address/password again.

Sorry if my advice is crap, I'm not an expert with MSN itself, but I can work the Windows quite well.

delete all the msn messenger files under your application data  and uninstall msn and reinstall it, should do the trick

also msn 7.5 made all my dps and emos dissapear, the new beta 0244 sucks for me and probably will for alot of ppl (yes i know, im not a tester and i know i shouldnt use it, but w/e i did) :P

C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application data\Microsoft\MSN Messenger

You'll need to turn on showing hidden files and folders to see the application date folder. Do this by going:

Tools > Folder Options > View > Show Hidden Files And Folders.. Then click ok.

Try reinstalling Plus!  I don't know if it will help or not... But give it a shot.
