I think it would be enormously helpful to have a plugin that extends the MSN Messenger integration with Outlook. Specifically, I'd like to be able to use the Messenger menus in Outlook to send a text message to any contact that has a mobile number - whether they are listed in my Messenger contacts or not. Now that MSN Messenger 7.0 has a stable function to send SMS to mobile phone numbers, this would seem very possible...and very helpful.

Although I don't know anything about coding, but Outlook's API is way different than MSN Messenger's API (guys, is it?). Patchou is spending his time on Plus! way enough and I just don't think there is no time to spend it on other projects. 
You could ask Microsoft/Windows Messenger/Outlook developers to do that.
