my windows update isnt able to install an update for outlook or somthing like that...when i click it to install and then express install it will just initialize installation and it wont do anything else for a few minutes and then it will go back to the beggining saying ther are updates ready for my computer and it the same update its trying to install.

not much I can suggest (never encountered something like that) but try to restart your computer first... then go to windows' update site for yourself and let it update from there...

If it still doesn't finish, try to manually start the downloaded update for yourself.
KB updates (indicated by KB and a number, eg: KB890047) can be found in a hidden system directory under C:\Windows\$hf_mig$\. Go to the specific subdirectory (eg: C:\Windows\$hf_mig$\KB890047\update) and start the program called update.exe in that directory.
