hi how do you get like a cool banner as your signature

Add

code:
[img] ....... image URL [/img]
there and voila!

For example:

code:
[img] http://www.google.nl/intl/nl_nl/images/logo.gif [/img]

(ps dont use spaces)

That'll make:

[Image: logo.gif]

You can make it clickable too:

code:
[url= http://www.google.nl ][img] http://www.google.nl/intl/nl_nl/images/logo.gif [/img][/url]

I used spaces, because else the board will make it an image... ;)

You could use the noparse tag, for example
code:
[noparse][img]http://www.google.nl/intl/nl_nl/images/logo.gif
http://www.google.nl/intl/nl_nl/images/logo.gif[/img][/noparse]
would let you have [img]http://www.google.nl/intl/nl_nl/images/logo.gif[/img]

When you create your signature please be aware that the maximum signature dimensions are 590 pixels wide, 125 pixels high.

i'm afraid not, because images on the internet, have to be hosted on the internet, even on the forum,

unless an individual forum allows u to upload ur image and then to be able to link to it, then ur best bet is simply to upload it... i like using

[Image: imageshack.png]

yes you can, just upload the required one to a hosting package such as http://www.imageshack.us and copy the code for Forum 1 and paste in the UserCP signature section
