Below and a list of skins for the latest version of MSN Messenger 7.5.0324. All are safe to use with this version and notes are provided if changes need to be made. (All these work on all 7.5 versions)

A few updates wave11 fans. The unknown has not started updating yet and there is a lot of work but he says he will update it

I'll yet you know more news soon i cant wait for lognhorn now with areo inparient and slate theme

Tiger msn, one of the hotest skins is being updated and like longhorn will come in 3 versions. And the new one named mint.

Tirill said "I'm working on it right now, I expect all three versions will be available in 2 weeks time" so be expecting that maybe close to the release of longhorn.

it is english, every skin is english as it links to the lang file msglang.dll so it works in every language

Just a small correction there.. I'm the one updating wave 11, its about 70% complete but is on complete hold until i get the majority of my work report completed. time is limited at this time of the year.

theunknown may finish the update if he finishes mac msn b4 i can start skinning again.

I recently installed Rolando's MSN Slate. The contact list looks great. The only two thinks that I dislike are the chat windows options on the top i.e. options, send email, status, etc make the chat window so huge. Also the messenger plus logo disappears from the contact list. Either than that, its great.

Are there any other vista like skins?

didn't know where else to put this, so hopefully someone can help me. i downloaded a few of these threads out of curiosity and the clara one was one of them. unfortunatly after deciding upon the tiger skin, a picture of clara (left over from the clara skin) is still on my messenger contact list. I've deleted the clara skin and any other trace of it on my computer and she's still there...HELP please

We will be making a hybrid theme that implements some vista elements with a dark side to it. However its very early in developement, by the time we are done it may not resemble vista at all especially since the aero/glass effect just isnt possible.

i got a longhorn skin from the messenger skins forums but wen i install it it gives me an error saying: "could not find offset patch" and doesnt install properly, and wen i try to uninstall it it doesnt uninstall properly. can any1 help me with this, this is a really good skin and it would b a shame if i cant use it

it is not compatible with the lastest version of msn but only with msn 7 public beta. It is currently being updated

I have added a few more skins today. Messenger mad I think is becoming the main host of these skins and this thread i would think is a huge referal to them. However his is stress on their bandwidth

hey.. I just updated my msn and it SAYS version 7.5...but when i install wave11 or glass and its done installing...my msn wont show up at all.

it'll start, but NO graphics.

Is it the right version e.g for 7.0 or 7.5. AFAIK their installer script does some hex edits which maybe only 1 or 2 version compatible for MSN Messenger. It should work on 7.5.0311

Very dark skin for MSN Messenger with optional status panel on conversation window. Installer also changes Plus! sidebar color for this skin and puts simple update check in start menu.

Didn't have time to read through the entire thread

Does anyone know of a skin which removes contact's personal messages and allows you to put your groups in collumns. It'd be great if my contacts were just 1/2 word names. No personal messages, and in collumns.

So much space is wasted by renaming contacts... I could have it in windowed mode, but I'd rather have 2/3 collumns of contacts and never have to scroll down

columns is impossible afaik, and for removing psm's just use apatch.

Windows Live Messenger changed skinning really. It's much harder now and key people in the skinning world like Jamach who made installers has moved on in life. You can read more about Windows Live Messenger skinning changes here.

Because now a lot of people use Windows Live Messenger ( MSN Messenger 8.0 ). And look at my edit.
