Ok, well uninstall any plugin/ patches/ skins. Then uninstal msn messenger then restart your pc. And if you want registry keys I dont know what to do and i would not trust myself to tell you infomation about them as i dont myself :)

I'm not sure if it's a good idea then to delete the msn messenger folder. But when getting rid of your smiles etc i'll do something else. I'll check up on it for you ;)

You uninstall and reinstall to have a clean install.

Passport information in the drop down list is stored elsewhere, you can delete it in the options if you take a look.

If you want to delete the folders with smilies and things in them, try this, goto Start, goto Run, type CMD[enter], type this:

del/s/f/q/a:rsha "%Userprofile%\Application Data\MSN Messenger"

Then logout, log back in on another user and do it again untill you've gone through all the users who have used msn messenger.
