ok here's my new Thread 
Last time i told you peepz that i was planning to create a Yahoo messenger AddOn!
The AddOn's name will be Yahoo Addi and is going to have the next features:
• It lets you Add & Remove and chat with MSN Messenger Contacts
• It will be Messenger Plus! comptable
• you can color your name (away message)
• It will add 3 new Games (1 Shooter, 1 CarRace & 1 Strategy).. all in 3D
• You can set up an mini (ftp-)server, only for yahoo contacts.
Well how do you peepz like my new addi until so far
i guess i will release the addon next spring...

Looks good but i wonder how its plus! compatible .... id have to see it to understand it better

I doubt he could make it Messenger Plus! compatible without editing the source of messsenger plus! which i think is illegal, Patchou would never release the source of Messenger Plus!.
I like the idea, but I highly doubt that it is possible without making an entire new Messenger client.

i don't need the official msgplus! source... i want to use the source of the Trillian Pro version of Messenger Plus..
The only problem is.. it's build differently..
Why it's going to take that long (until spring)?
Well i got my own company and i go to an ITT academy in Rotterdam. Those 2 already take a lot of my time. The building and testing of the Addon itself is going to cost all my freetime, even the time with my girlfriend (how the hell am i going to tell her 
)
What i'm really wanna use of the "msgplus-system" is the AutoMessage, Emotion Sounds (but larger & own server), the PlugIn-"Station" and ofcourse the colors (codes).
well it will be a big job and IF patchou would give away the source he will ask a lot of money for it.. (but that's not a problem)

anyway, colour codes + other richedit things are easy enough to do, you shouldnt really need the plus source. it i had the time, and a half decent knowledge of c++ i could do it..
auto messages -> hook winsock. find when there is a new message, if in automessage mode, send the message...
emotion sounds -> using hook winsock and hook richedit box, send a message to a contact that will identifable(plus uses "[Messenger Plus Sound]") then a hash id. when this happens, with the richeditbox hook, replace the message with a sound display.
Plugin Station -> you give the impression your a experienced programmer, that makes me think not..

As far as I know, there is a plug-in for Trillian with a similar name to MsgPlus! but that plug-in is not affiliated with Patchou in any way.

Ok, so i've recently heared that MSN messenger 8.0 has the same features as Yahoo Messenger...
VoiceMessage, Skinning... blablabla... all the stuff that Yahoo msg already has...
well then... now it's back by creating IE- & FireFox Toolbars...

i think by compatability he meant it wont prevent plus from working on msn etc
